re thrilled to annouce that we have signed with Six Degrees Records, one of the premier world music and electronica labels in the world. Our album Suryaghati will be released in the form of 2 EPs.  Before our EPs are released, as one of Six Degrees’ new “Emerging Artists”, one of our tracks “Surya” is already available on the Emerging Artists Sampler.

Six Degrees Records is launching a new “digital only” series of releases dedicated to breaking new artists. The Six Degrees Emerging Artists Series will bring the freshest talent in eclectic, genre bending music in a digital only format.

The first release in the series is the Emerging Artists Sampler Vol. 1, featuring the music of newcomers Rara Avis, DO (featuring Omar Sosa & Greg Landau), ZAMAN 8 and Hafez Modir, MNO, and Jef Stott. This five-track sampler is a snapshot of the upcoming individual artist EPs slated for release in the series. Available for download on December 5, 2006 at sixdegreesrecords.com and all leading digital retail stores including iTunes and eMusic.

The Emerging Artists Sampler has been well received on iTunes hitting the top 15 in both the USA and UK world charts only 3 days after release.
